Brittney, Today Is Your Day!

Today is the day!

Our daughter has planned toward this day; budgeted for this day; prepared for this day; waited for this day!

Today her journey begins.

She is flying to Anchorage Alaska today. And in just a few more days she'll board a small bush plane and fly to her new home - the village of Pilot Station, Alaska - where she will teach Special Education.

We saw her off at the airport today. It was a proud moment! We are so proud of the young woman that she is. She brings us joy and laughter and a sense of pride. Today she even brought us a few tears... saying goodbye is difficult.

The tears were needed - that's what Mama's do. They were cleansing and therapeutic.

Now I am ready to focus on her journey; on her adventure.

Brittney, I love you (this much and more!)

Well done Mama in letting your daughter fly - may you know peace as Brittany establishes herself in this her new adventure.
The card is perfect for the occasion.

Fabulous card and the saying is so perfect for Brittany's new adventure. Well done Mama... your job was to raise a strong, independent young woman who is not afraid to spread her wings and fly. Of course there are tears but also an immense sense of pride for you because she will do well in this world!

Jeanette--your card is awesome--just like the daughter it was created for along with her mom that raised her!
